Research and Evaluation Clearinghouses

In addition to building evidence through a broad range of rigorous empirical studies, OPRE catalogs, reviews and disseminates evidence related to ACF programs. OPRE conducted systematic reviews of the effectiveness of interventions designed to help job seekers who are low-income succeed in the labor market, research on programs and services for children and families to prevent foster care placements, the evidence for early childhood home visiting services, and sponsors the Child Care and Early Education Research Connections.
