The Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Course is intended to support the training of the DoD acquisition workforce on the significant changes created by the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994, the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, and the revised FAR Part 13 procedures on simplified acquisition. Professionals participating in this course will gain training on Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Part 213 of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, which cover simplified acquisition procedures (SAP).
