Effective October 1, 2015, several of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) acquisition-related thresholds will be adjusted for inflation. The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Inflation Adjustment of Acquisition-Related Thresholds (DFARS Case 2014-D025) are according to the Federal Register, Vol. 80, No. 80, No. 123/Friday, June 26, 2015. Please note that the DFARS 207.170-3(a) change removed the change back to the original $6 million. The reference is Federal Register, Vol. 80, No. 148/Monday, August 3, 2015.
