Colonel Jimmy L. Bardin is the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-
Eustis, VA. In this capacity, Colonel Bardin assists the staff judge advocate in executing his duties as the
principal legal advisor to the Commander, Air Combat Command (ACC) and headquarters staff on all legal issues, to
include military justice, civil litigation, environmental law, claims, international law and combat operations. He
provides professional guidance to over 300 active duty, reserve and civilian attorneys and to over 300 enlisted
paralegals and civilians. The office of the Staff Judge Advocate establishes policy oversight for 14 legal offices,
including six general court-martial jurisdictions, which provide legal services to over 82,000 active duty members
and civilians and their eligible dependents.

Colonel Jason K. Sutton is the Director of Communications, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He is responsible for cyberspace and communications policy, resource advocacy, and program management supporting ACC’s mission—providing combat ready forces to deliver dominant combat airpower in support of national security strategy implementation. His team provides critical cyberspace and communications support for the command’s 34 wings, 1,300 aircraft, 19 bases, and 70 worldwide operating locations with 94,000 active-duty and civilian personnel.
