Motorists should expect extreme congestion and delays at all Delaware River crossings between Bucks County in Pennsylvania and Burlington and Mercer counties in New Jersey because of the continued emergency closure of the bridge connecting the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Turnpikes. Motorists are strongly urged to take public transit, to carpool, to work from home, or to shift their work hours outside of the peak commuting times during this closure. Severe traffic congestion is expected at all crossings in the area. Expect slow-moving or stopped traffic, especially during the morning and evening rush hours.
I-295 southbound Exit 67 ramp to Route 1 southbound in Lawrence Township, Mercer County is now closed and detoured for approximately 8 weeks for construction and deck replacement. The ramp to Route 1 northbound remains open. A posted detour is in effect and motorist's are urged to allow extra travel time.
