Public Records Requests

Public records requests are available several ways. You may either make a public records request online or visit one of our Public Records Centers. The Electronic Document Management System or EDMS contains all official records that have been created or received by DEQ and are available on our web site.

Custodian of Record

The Department’s Custodian of Records is Jason Hanchey. To request DEQ public records, please submit a request form. For questions about DEQ public records, call 225-219-3168 or email publicrecords@la.gov.

Solicitation Notice to DEQ Employees

The contact information for employees of the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality contained on this site is not to be used for any type solicitation for products, sales or service to DEQ employees.

Supplemental benefit vendors seeking to provide products or service to state employees must seek prior approval from the Office of State Uniform Payroll to be permitted to offer products or services to state employees through their employer. Supplemental benefit vendors not on the approved vendor/product list will not be granted access to DEQ employees. The Division of Administration, Office of State Uniform Payroll is the agency responsible for maintaining the approved vendor/product list. (Includes: Life, Accidental, Dental, Disability, Cancer, Heart, Long Term Care, etc.)
