At ITEP, we know how helpful it can be for tribal professionals to learn directly from one another. While ITEP’s waste and response staff are here to help you, we also coordinate a variety of mentor activities where you can work directly with another tribal professional who has dealt with challenges you may be currently facing. ITEP and the Tribal Pollution Prevention Network (Tribal P2) are joining forces to help tribal professionals searching for peer to peer assistance with pollution prevention, source reduction, and waste diversion strategies. In addition to ITEP’s peer to peer matching assistance and on site mentoring opportunities, we encourage you to visit the Tribal P2 peer map below, where you can find peer support to advance your pollution prevention programs in over 20 different areas, including solid waste, recycling, composting, greening casinos, and greening tribal offices to name a few.
