Civil Support Simulation Exercises

How do you prepare emergency first responders to be ready for an emergency without putting them through a real disaster? Experience may be the best teacher, but no one wants to experience a large-scale disaster in order to be prepared! Community-wide disaster drills can be an effective method of training, but they are complex, expensive and can be hazardous to personnel and equipment.

A computer simulation exercise is the solution and a perfect alternative to live, costly, complex and dangerous disaster drills. The Army National Guard’s Battle Staff Training Branch (BSTB) is able to run computer simulations that replicate your agency’s equipment and resources at minimal cost in a safe environment. Exercises can be designed to train a myriad of audiences. Scenarios are easily adaptable to train local, state, and federal agencies..
