2 I am managing an IDIQ contract which may contain FFP, LH, T&M or CPFF task orders. I received a request from the contractor to adjust their rates for the base year that expired in Aug 09. The request is due to a rate change after they receive the approved FPRA Rates from DCAA. The new approved rates are higher than the negotiated rates which will cause the total value of the contract to drastically increase. A DCAA auditor recommended that a downward only saving clause be included in this contract that will allow for adjustments downward only. Could you please direct me to the correct clause that provides the authority to incorporate such clause? Or could you please provide the verbiage to be included in a reopener clause (downward pricing)?  Question
