Firms on the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Qualified List of ESCOs competed for and were awarded a DOE energy savings performance contract (ESPC) master indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) or "umbrella" contract.
Sixteen ESCOs were awarded the master IDIQ contracts based on their demonstrated capabilities to manage the development and implementation of multiple ESPC projects worldwide.
