Idaho Rangeland Management and Grazing
In 2014, grazing on BLM managed public lands in Idaho generated $275 million in economic output, more than any other BLM state.
BLM Idaho authorizes livestock grazing for domestic horses, sheep, and cattle on over 11,500,000 acres of public land. This includes over 2,100 grazing allotments, over 1,600 livestock operators, and over 1,800 grazing permits.
