Annual Merit Review Proceedings

The Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meeting provides an opportunity for peer evaluation of the projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Program. An opening plenary session highlights activities in the four DOE offices—Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Fossil Energy, Nuclear Energy, and Science—that make up the program. Then, researchers present their work and answer questions from review panels of technical experts. Sessions focus on hydrogen production and delivery, hydrogen storage, fuel cells, basic energy sciences, manufacturing R&D, technology validation, safety codes and standards, market transformation, and systems analysis.
