Welcome to ILSI Europe initiative on GUIDEA

GUIDEA - Guidance for Dietary Intake Exposure Assessment is an ongoing initiative started in 2009 by the ILSI Europe Food Intake Methodology Task Force. It is based on the wide range of individual guidance documents already available on exposure assessment. GUIDEA is intended to assist the user in obtaining answers to the following questions:

  • What type of assessment is appropriate for which purpose?
  • How should assessments be conducted?
  • How should assessments be reported?

Although the aim of this website is to centralise key information on dietary intake and exposure, it is clear that due to the scope and complexity of information available on this subject, a complete overview is not necessarily achievable.

We welcome you to participate as a CONTRIBUTOR (owner/reviewer/forum member) to this site. Contribution will require a quick registration at no cost. Input from specialists with active professional experience in dietary exposure assessment is welcomed and appreciated! For information:GUIDEA registration and review process
