Video Contest for Youth and Young Adults
Tobacco—I'm Not Buying It
A video contest sponsored by CDC's Office on Smoking and Health invited youth ages 13–17 and young adults ages 18–25 to submit original videos (English or Spanish) featuring one or more of the key findings from the 2012 Surgeon General's report. Prizes totaling $10,000 were awarded. Video submission deadline was April 22, 2012.

A new public service advertisement (PSA) featuring Dr. Regina Benjamin, U.S. Surgeon General, shows teens describing their futures if they use tobacco. The PSA makes it clear that smoking causes immediate damage that leads to health problems, even death.
