Angelonia -It’s easy to grow and flowers profusely (AND IT’S PURPLE!) great plant for our dry spells and heat. Not fussy about soil either. Butterflies love it! A few other good ideas too!

Clematis armandii 'Apple Blossom' is one of the earliest to flower in March and April. It is evergreen. The pinkish-white flowers smell deliciously of almonds. It likes a position in full sun or partial shade where it will make 15'-25'/4.5-7.5m in neutral but well-drained soil. Like all Clematis it will benefit from a top-dressing of bonemeal in Spring.
