Reed Tech is crawling the USPTO Public PAIR (Patent Application Information Retrieval) website and downloading patent documents, including image file wrappers (IFW PDF's).
This crawl operates continually and will be retrieving both already-submitted documents and new documents as the USPTO makes them publicly available.
Except for repackaging into zip files, these documents are hosted by Reed Tech unchanged. A single zip file is created for each patent application.
Public PAIR Application Downloading Acceptable Use Policy
To assist with the general availability of USPTO Public PAIR information and other services provided by PDD, any activity or operation that causes a denial or significant degradation of PDD services to other customers may result in loss of access to the offender. The use of automated scripts to download the Public PAIR archives is permitted. Since there are many requests to download this data, we ask that you refrain from inundating the system with a large number of concurrent download requests.
We reserve the right to limit concurrent downloads from a particular organization, internet address or subnet and to limit access to the offender.
