ACHP Agreement Documents
In hundreds of cases throughout the country, the ACHP participates in consultation on the development of Section 106 agreement documents that evidence federal agency commitments to resolving adverse effects on historic properties that might result from their actions. Beginning in June 2013, the ACHP committed to making publically available those Section 106 agreement documents which it signs as a participant in consultation. These agreements are being made available to expand awareness of the role the ACHP plays in concluding Section 106 when it is participating in consultation. General questions about these agreement documents should be directed to the lead federal agency responsible for executing them. Questions about the ACHP's role in concluding these agreements should be directed to ACHP staff assigned to a particular agency for Section 106 casework. The assignment chart is available here.
