Chlorides, sulfates, carbonates, borates, silicates or nitrates of potassium or sodium, along with phosphate and related minerals are leasable minerals and are administered per the 43 CFR Part 3500 regulations. Hardrock minerals which are normally classified as locatable are administered under Part 3500 when they occur on acquired lands.
