During ASSE's 2016 Leadership Conference in Oak Brook, IL, four current Society volunteer leaders shared how they became involved in ASSE. Their goal was to illustrate the many different ways members can volunteer their time, experience and energy to help the Society grow and prosper.
Speakers Deb Roy, an ASSE at-large director, Thom Kramer, Vice President, Professional Development, Linda Tapp, ASSE Foundation trustee, and Darryl Hill, ASSE Fellow, former Society president and current ASSE Foundation Chair, each described their personal journeys as ASSE volunteers. Their stories cover a wide range of activities as well as varying levels of involvement, all pulled together by a common thread: a desire to support ASSE and advance the OSH profession.
