USAID's Investments for Economic Development in Lebanon - Dollars to Results
FY 2011 $11.5 M
FY 2012 $11.8 M
FY 2014 $12.2 M
Why Our Work Matters…
Economic growth creates opportunities, improves quality of life, and reduces poverty.
As increasing political and economic pressures compound the difficulties in rural Lebanon, USAID’s programs work to provide opportunities for jobs with competitive wages in these areas and to ensure that rural Lebanese share equally in the country’s prosperity. USAID's goal is to enhance competitiveness for micro-, small- and medium-sized business so that individual incomes can rise above the national minimum wage rate.
Disclaimer: Dollars to Results links spending in a fiscal year to results reported for that same year. The data may differ from other USAID and U.S. Government websites because they use different timeframes and reporting parameters for information displayed. Please refer to the FAQs for more details.
