SAN DIEGO — The Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) is proud to announce engineer Anastasia Dimitriu received the 2015 Defense Acquisition Workforce Individual Achievement award for Test & Evaluation during a ceremony hosted by the Honorable Frank Kendall, Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Dec. 10, 2015, at the Pentagon Hall of Heroes in Arlington, Virginia.
The Defense Acquisition Workforce Individual Achievement Award was established to encourage and recognize individuals who demonstrate the highest levels of excellence and professionalism in the acquisition of products and services — those who support the Warfighter and protect the taxpayer.
Dimitriu was recognized as an outstanding Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineer whose superior leadership and technical expertise have significantly advanced the acquisition development cycle of two highly visible, critical Navy Acquisition Category IA Major Automated Information System programs: Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) and Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N).
