USAID's Investments for Humanitarian Assistance in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Dollars to Results
FY 2014 $1.9 M
FY 2015 $877.8 K
Heavy rains beginning in early May 2014 caused widespread flooding across northeastern and central Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). An initial assessment found that floods had displaced thousands of households, disrupted water supplies, and damaged public infrastructure, including roads and bridges.
Why Our Work Matters…
Every year, droughts, floods, hurricanes, and other natural disasters affect millions of people around the world, and millions of other people are in need of emergency food aid. USAID focuses on crisis prevention, response, recovery and transition to strengthen resilience, mitigate the impact of disasters, and save lives.
Disclaimer: Dollars to Results links spending in a fiscal year to results reported for that same year. The data may differ from other USAID and U.S. Government websites because they use different timeframes and reporting parameters for information displayed. Please refer to the FAQs for more details.
