Judge Goldman was appointed in September of 2005.  He previously worked as an attorney in the NLRB Appellate Court Branch, and as an Assistant and Associate General Counsel for the United Steelworkers of America.  He received his B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina and his J.D. degree from Columbia University.  He is a past contributing editor of The Developing Labor Law (BNA), and has been a senior editor of How to Take a Case Before the NLRB (BNA) since 1998.  In 2016, Judge Goldman was elected as an Honorary Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.
