Greater Mooses Tooth 2 SEIS

Aerial photo of CD2 (which will be similar to the pad for GMT2)

On August 25, 2015, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. (CPAI) submitted an application for permit to drill (APD) to the BLM for authorization to construct, operate, and maintain a drill site, access road, pipelines and ancillary facilities to support development of petroleum resources at the Greater Mooses Tooth 2 (GMT2) drilling location. The proposed GMT2 drill site, road and pipeline routes are all on BLM-managed lands or ANCSA corporation selected lands.

The proposed GMT2 drilling and production pad is approximately 20 miles southwest of the ConocoPhillips-operated Alpine Central Facility (CD-1). The GMT2 drill site would be supported by permitted GMT1 infrastructure and existing CD-1 infrastructure.
