(NRG) and JX Nippon Oil and Gas Exploration Corporation (JX Nippon) announced that the Petra Nova project -- the world’s largest post-combustion carbon-capture system – has begun commercial operation at the W. A. Parish Plant in Thompsons, Texas, southwest of Houston.
