The 2011 Year-in-Review (YIR) provides a summary of significant energy disruptions and infrastructure changes that occurred in the United States throughout 2011. The focus is on the United States, but international events that impacted the United States are also reported.  The 2011 YIR is based primarily on information reported in the Energy Assurance Daily (EAD) between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
