The Acquisition Law SIA has been developed to assist non-lawyers in the AT&L workforce by providing a centralized location for researching acquisition law issues. A myriad of laws and regulations control the actions of the AT&L workforce, from the development of the acquisition requirement through contract close out and final fund disbursement. THIS COP IS NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE and does not relieve one from the requirement to obtain LEGAL ADVICE FROM YOUR GENERAL COUNSEL OR JAG OFFICE. The purpose of this COP is to give the AT&L professional a centralized location to go to for questions dealing with acquisition law.
