Recreation Passes
The BLM and several other Federal agencies -- including the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers -- participate in the Interagency Pass Program created by the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act and authorized by Congress in December 2004.
The pass series collectively known as the America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass provides access to Federal lands and waters across the country. Annual Pass
Available to the public. $80 per year.
Military Annual Pass
Free annual pass for military and military families
Annual 4th Grade Pass
Free annual pass for 4th graders and their families.
Senior Pass
Lifetime pass. One-time $10 fee.
Access Pass
Free pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities.
Volunteer Pass
Free pass for volunteers with 250+ hours of service.
Note: All National Parks Passes, Golden Eagle, Golden Eagle Hologram, Golden Access and Golden Age Passports will continue to be honored according to the provisions of the pass. Only paper Golden Age and Access Passports may be exchanged free of charge for new plastic passes.
