Kaw Nation Tribal Citizens:
I am very pleased to be able to finally provide you with a very exciting announcement in regard to our Braman property. As I mentioned in my recent address to the Kaw Nation Citizenship below, we are on a very clear and quick path to the long-awaited, much-anticipated development of an opportunity to again become the industry leader in our market for gaming and entertainment. I’m delighted to inform you that the Kaw Nation, through the years of hard work and collaboration with Kaw Gaming, Inc., is announcing an unprecedented opportunity to partner with legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS, famed restaurateur/hotelier Michael Zislis, and concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano to develop a first-of-its-kind destination resort casino & hotel project with Rock & Brews, headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California. This partnership with Rock & Brews will provide the Kaw Nation with the opportunity to again be the prime gaming and entertainment destination in our market.

Our ultimate and ever-present goal is to provide more direct services for our Kaw Tribal Citizens and move forward to a self-sustaining future each of you can be proud to be a part of. Although
we are proceeding quickly, rest assured that we are proceeding with the utmost diligence ensuring the best interest of the Nation and each of its Citizens is the primary focus. I assure you that additional information will be consistent and forth-coming as this very exciting opportunity continues to develop.

All Kaw Nation Offices and the Kaw Nation Tag Office will be close at 12:00 PM Friday, December 23, 2016 and all day Monday, December 26, 2016 for the Christmas Holiday.

The Kanza Wellness Center and Child Care Development will only be closed on Monday, December 26, 2016.

All offices will open for regular business on Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

All Kaw Nation Offices and the Kaw Nation Tag Office will be closed Monday, January 2, 2017 for the New Year Holiday.

These closing do not include Kaw Nation Smoke Shops, Casinos or Stores,

All offices will open for regular business on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 for regular business.
