Project 100: 100 People. 100 Days. 100 Dollars.
Project 100 is an organization in Southeast Michigan aimed at trying to help people. For 100 days this summer, the Project will give 100 people $100 bills. Recipients are randomly choosen and can do whatever they wish with their money. Click here for more information on this unique effort.
2009 Governor's Service Awards Honors Volunteers!
Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and First Gentleman Daniel G. Mulhern recognized outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses during the 2009 Governor's Service Awards, held Thursday, June 18. The Governor's Service Awards are given annually to individuals, businesses, and organizations to acknowledge their commitment to serving their communities through volunteerism.
2009 Michigan's AmeriCorps Russ Mawby Signature Service Project Impacted City of Flint
The Russ Mawby Signature Service Project is an annual event. Each year AmeriCorps members from all around Michigan join together for two days of training, teambuilding, and service.
