Overview

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's Lahontan National Fish Hatchery Complex and the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe are working together to restore the ancient Pilot Peak strain of Lahontan cutthroat trout – once thought extinct – back to its native waters of Pyramid Lake and the Truckee River.
