The 2016 Revolution Now report is a signature annual update on our country’s advancements in clean energy produced by the Energy Department’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The report focuses on the decreasing cost and increasing deployment of five clean energy technologies – wind turbines, solar technologies for both utility-scale and distributed photovoltaic power (PV), electric vehicles (EVs) and light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
Revolution Now also examines additional emerging technologies on the horizon including AMO's ISO 50001 and Superior Energy Performance programs and Big Area Additive Manufacturing technology, commonly known as 3-D printing.
