Seeking Potential Victims in Jerry Harris Investigation
The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying potential additional victims of Jeremiah Harris, who was arrested on September 17, 2020 for allegedly enticing an underage boy to produce and transmit sexually explicit videos and photos of himself.
FBI El Paso Warns of Increase in Phone Calls That Spoof FBI Phone Number
FBI El Paso at its Midland and Alpine RAs have seen a recent increase in phone calls that spoof the Bureau’s phone number as part of a Social Security scam. The callers will often “spoof,” or fake, the local FBI’s phone number, so the call appears to be coming from the FBI on the recipient’s caller ID.
Anyone who feels they were the victim of this or any other online scam should report the incident immediately at ic3.gov.
