Farm Service Agency works hard to get information to you in a timely manner regarding our programs and policies. This news bulletin provides a list of important FSA annual policy reminders. Many of these reminders include important information that will assist you in maintaining federal farm program eligibility for your operation. Sending all program reminders in this one, nationally-issued news bulletin places all of these annual reminders in one location providing a single reference to specific things you must do to remain eligible for USDA programs.

Launching the Celebration – 30 Years of Conservation

2015 marks the 30th Anniversary of the Conservation Reserve program (CRP) and in recognition of this milestone; FSA has launched a commemorative website. The web address is www.fsa.usda.gov/CRPis30. We hope you'll visit the site often to take an interactive, cross-country tour and see the nationwide impact of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) unfold virtually over the next several months.

Who we are:

The Farm Service Agency is a federal agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Located in all 50 states, our mission is to help American farmers provide reasonably priced food and fiber to the nation and the world.

In West Virginia, the State Office is located in Morgantown, West Virginia. County Service Centers are located in 23 West Virginia towns and serve the needs of area farmers and ranchers. For County Office phone numbers and addresses please view the County Information Site.

The Farm Service Agency State Committee in West Virginia oversees the activities of the agency. The members are appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture each year. They hear appeals from local farmers and guide the direction of agency policy.
