The open enrollment and renewal period begins Nov. 1, 2016. Dr. Enriquez, director of the Office of Head Start, has written a letter to programs and interested parties reminding us that programs can play a vital role in making sure families know how to find and apply for health insurance. Although most of our Head Start children have health insurance, many of their parents and family members may not. Having health insurance helps parents and family members support children's health and success.
