NIAID GCP Learning Center Quick Tour

NIAID GCP Learning Center is a computer-based classroom where courses on the subject of good clinical practices (GCP) are offered free of charge to NIAID staff, contractors and grantees. These courses cover the scientific and ethical standards of human subjects research including NIH, FDA, HHS, and international clinical trial policies, guidelines, and regulations. Human Subjects Protections training requirements of the NIAID clinical terms of award for grants and cooperative agreements can be fulfilled through completing these courses.

You must use an NIH account with a username and password to access the NIAID GCP Learning Center. Please review the three types of accounts below to see which is appropriate for you:

NIH Internal Accounts NIAID staff and contractors may use their NIH username and passwords to login to the NIAID GCP Learning Center.  Anyone with an email account in the form of jsmith@niaid.nih.gov has this type of account.

eRA Commons Accountss Principal Investigators on NIAID grants may use the same usernames and passwords that they use for their eRA Commons Account to login to the NIAID GCP Learning Center. Information for eRA Commons can be found at https://commons.era.nih.gov/commons/

NIH External Account If you do not have an eRA Commons Account or an NIH Internal Account you may register for an NIH External Account at the link below.  The registration process will result in a username and 1 time password being emailed to you 24 hours after registration.  The email will include a link that you must go to in order to change your 1 time password.  Once this has been completed, return here to login to the NIAID GCP Learning Center.  Click here to access the NIH External Account registration page.
