School Readiness
Infants and toddlers develop within the context of relationships with the adults in their lives. Relationships provide the security to explore, play, and learn. These experiences set a secure foundation for later school success. Programs identify broad goals for school readiness and set goals for learning for each child. Early Head Start (EHS) programs work with families in their homes and through daily routines to prepare children for school.
