By Pachel Ohm - Starks: Paul Frederic is a farmer, a selectman, and part of the newly formed Starks Agriculture Commission, an organization set up to protect and promote the interests of farmers and agriculturists. The commission is the first in the state, said Jim Murphy, a retired biochemist from Boston and the chairman of the group of townspeople forming the commission, although such groups do exist outside of Maine.
