Team Rubicon
One of the BLM’s most successful partnerships involves Team Rubicon, an international nonprofit disaster response organization that combines the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to deploy disaster response teams to communities affected by disasters across the country. Team Rubicon’s mission involves providing disaster relief and at the same time, assisting veterans as they return to civilian life after their military service.
The BLM has partnered to train Team Rubicon veterans in wildland firefighting.
