System-to-System
On This Page:

More and more organizations are creating their own system-to-system (S2S) solutions or using commercial service providers to send grant application data directly to Grants.gov as an alternative to using Grants.gov’s downloadable forms. Although the primary system-to-system interface is between the institution and Grants.gov, many of these S2S Trading Partners are submitting applications through Grants.gov to NIH and have chosen to include functionality into their solutions that are specific to NIH applications. NIH provides resources and services to these S2S Trading Partners to help facilitate the development of solutions that are closely integrated with NIH requirements.
