Q. Congestion Taxation at New York Airports

On May 16, 2008 former Secretary Peters issued recommendations to help avoid future abrupt aircraft groundings, new measures to improve air travel.

Secretary Peters announced Dec. 13, 2007 that the Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC) she created to review potential solutions to the gridlock hampering New York-area airports has completed its work and submitted feedback on a range of congestion-fighting possibilities for the region.
