Elonis v. United States Decision 

June 1, 2015

The National Center for Victims of Crime is disappointed in today’s ruling by the Supreme Court in Elonis v. U.S. The decision, announced this morning, creates additional confusion and questions that must be decided by a lower court as it relates to stalking laws across the country.

The Stalking Resource Center Responds to CBS' "Stalker"

There is very little Stalker get's right about stalking. This show only makes our work more difficult by framing stalking as entertainment. In glorifying and normalizing a serious crime, the program demonstrates extremely poor judgment disrespecting the 7.5 million individuals who are victims of stalking each year in the U.S.
