The U.S. Department of Health and Human Service, Office on Women's Health is the lead for this day.

National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

NNHAAD coordination is a combined effort between these collaborating agencies: Begay Consulting, CA7AE: HIV/AIDS Prevention Project, Center for Prevention and Wellness, Council Oaks Training and Evaluation, Inc., ETR's Community Impact Solutions Project, Florida Department of Health - HIV Section, Great Plains Tribal Chairmen's Health Board, National Native American AIDS Prevention Center (NNAAPC), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

National Youth HIV & AIDS Awareness Day (NYHAAD) is an annual observance that takes place on April 10.

National Transgender HIV Testing Day (NTHTD) was first observed on April 18, 2016. The community lead is UCSF’s The Center for Excellence in Transgender Health.
HIV Vaccine Awareness Day

National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is the lead for this day.

National Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

May 19 is National Asian and Pacific Islander (API) HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The Banyan Tree Project —a national campaign to end the silence and shame surrounding HIV/AIDS in Asian and Pacific Islander communities—is the lead for this day.
Hepatitis Testing Day

The Action Plan for the Prevention, Care, and Treatment of Viral Hepatitis designates May 19 as Hepatitis Testing Day.

National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day
September 18
The AIDS Institute launched this day in 2008 and is the lead. The 2015 theme for NHAAAD was Aging is a part of life: HIV doesn’t have to be.

In 2008 the National Association of People with AIDS launched this observance day.
National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day
October 15
The Latino Commission on AIDS (LCOA), the Hispanic Federation and many other organizations organize this day.
