2013 Early Literacy Mini-Grant Applications Available
The Colorado State Library is accepting applications through January 31, 2013 for $250 grants for early literacy Summer Reading Programs and 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten programs.

Teen Video Contest
The Colorado State Library and the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) are excited to announce a teen video contest. Colorado teens, 13-18, are invited to create a short Public Service Announcement promoting the 2013 summer reading theme "Beneath the Surface."

One Book 4 Colorado: May 6 - 20, 2013
Again in 2013, public libraries and Reach Out and Read health clinics will give out copies of the same book to 4 year olds between May 6 - 20! Stay tuned for more information on this fun and important project to help raise early literacy awareness and get books in the hands--and hearts--of young children.

ILEAD USA Colorado Applications Now Available
The Colorado State Library invites all interested library staff (no MLIS required) to apply to be an iLeader on a 5 person team, a mentor, or an instructor for this unique and innovative leadership and technology program.
