Homelessness Data Exchange

The Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX) is an online data submission tool for reporting to HUD. The HDX allows Continuums of Care nationwide to submit data on the:

• Housing Inventory Count (HIC)
• Point-in-Time (PIT) Count
• Annual Homeless Assessment Report (AHAR)

HDX Guides, Tools, and Webinars

Guides, tools, webinars, and other resources related to HDX, Point-in-Time (PIT) and Housing Inventory Count (HIC), and AHAR are provided to assist grantees. New users of the HDX should view the HUD HDX Training Modules, a series of six user-friendly HDX training modules to help communities use the HDX and gain the most out of their data. The training modules focus on providing training on all the features in HDX, including the registration and login process; dashboard and data upload process; HIC data entry, and PIT data entry.
