The National Medal of Technology and Innovation (NMTI) is the nation’s highest honor for technological achievement, bestowed by the president of the United States on America's leading innovators.
There have been more than 220 laureates honored since the first year of the award in 1985. The most recent laureates are for the 2013 and 2014 classes, announced by the White House in December 2015. The pages below display the laureates by year.
