Nominations

WALS nominations are accepted each December. We keep this series relevant with a careful selection of speakers that reflects the diversity of NIH's scientific research and the community's desire for constant learning and discovery. To bring the best and brightest speakers to NIH, the selection committee seeks nominees who (a) engage audiences with information and presentation style, (b) lead cutting-edge research projects, and (c) appeal to diverse groups of NIH researchers.
