Details:
Benjamin John Soliman Defensor III is wanted for the international parental kidnapping of his three children. Defensor and his now ex-wife were married in the Philippines in 1992, and had two children born there in 1992 and 1996. The family moved to the United States where a third child was born in Delaware in 1999, after which time the entire family became citizens of the United States. In 2004, Defensor and his wife separated and shared custody of the children, with the court stipulating that the children could not be removed from the United States. In 2005 and without the knowledge of his ex-wife, Defensor was granted full custody of the children in Philippines courts. Sometime between May 22 and May 24, 2005, Defensor fled to the Philippines with his children. On May 27, 2005, Delaware Family Court granted full custody of the three children to Defensor's ex-wife. In August of 2005, a local arrest warrant was issued for Defensor in the State of Delaware for felony interference with custody. Then, on December 16, 2011, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Defensor in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, Wilmington, Delaware, after he was charged with international parental kidnapping.
