Participants at this training will be provided a review of the FY 2013 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) program including changes, the application process and the submission requirements. The purpose of the ICDBG program is to assist Indian tribes and Alaska Native villages to develop viable communities, including rehabilitating housing or building new housing or to buy land to support new housing construction. The funding can also be used to build infrastructure such as roads, water and sewer facilities, to create suitable living environments, and to spur economic development. Deadline January 4, 2012.
