            Emergency Programs

​The Office of Emergency Programs coordinates and facilitates the Department’s emergency programs, working with other partners on national security and emergency preparedness initiatives. 
​Emergency Programs is responsible for the development and maintenance of policies, plans, and procedures to support those initiatives as well as the associated training, tests, and exercises.  Office functional areas include emergency management, continuity of operations, and continuity of government, emergency communications, and shelter in place/ evacuation.
